Seth E. Snyder, Ph.D. is a scientific advisor at the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP.

Dr. Snyder completed his Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at the Cooper Union in New York City. He then received his doctoral training at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working under the auspices of Professor William H. Pirkle. His primary research interests included catalysis, enantioselective organic synthesis and molecular recognition. Upon completion of his doctorate, Dr. Snyder worked as an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania where he was engaged in the design and synthesis of small-molecule inhibitors of protein-protein interactions implicated in various pathologies including cancer and thrombosis.

Dr. Snyder has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and he is a co-inventor on several U.S. patent applications. He has presented his research results at a number of National chemistry meetings and is currently a member of the American Chemical Society.
