Kimberly McGraw is an attorney in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug. She practices in the area of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright and unfair competition, with a particular emphasis in litigation under the Hatch Waxman act.

Ms. McGraw's trial and appellate experience includes appearances before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the Federal District Courts, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Her cases have involved varied technological subject matters including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductors, and telephone routing systems. Ms. McGraw also has significant experience in patent validity and infringement opinions, patent prosecution, due diligence investigations, and licensing.

She is a member of local and national bar associations such as the Intellectual Property Owners Association, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. Kimberly McGraw is also a faculty member and lecturer with the Practicing Law Institute and an adjunct professor at the University of Akron School of Law where she teaches a class in Biotech Patent Law.

Ms. McGraw attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a National Merit Scholar (B.S. Biological Sciences, concent. Molecular Biology, Genetics 1991) and St. Peter's College, Oxford, England. Kimberly performed cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where she investigated the use of genetically engineered monoclonal antibodies and vaccines to treat and prevent leukemia. She has published numerous scientific peer reviewed articles on her research.

Ms. McGraw received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1998, after which she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Giles Sutherland Rich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
