Howard C. Lee is a patent agent in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP. Mr. Lee is a registered patent agent specializing in the area of chemistry and biochemistry.

Mr. Lee's practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of agrochemicals, carbohydrates, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and polymers. In addition, Mr. Lee provides support and research for patent validity, infringement and patentability opinions, and for interference proceedings.

Mr. Lee received his B.S. from Purdue University (also a Distinguished Graduate of the Purdue's Army ROTC program) and his M.S. from the University of Maryland. Mr. Lee's work experience includes stints as a summer co-op with Crompton & Knowles, now Crompton Corp. (Gibraltar, PA), a production supervisor for Merck & Co., Inc. (Albany, GA) and service as maintenance control officer in the U.S. Army Reserve during Operation Desert Shield/Storm (Saudi Arabia).

Mr. Lee was also an Examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, achieving Master's Level status in 1998 and Primary Examiner level status in 1999.

Mr. Lee is a member of the American Chemical Society, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Sigma Xi, Society for Glycobiology and the American Intellectual Property Law Association and is currently enrolled at Seton Hall School of Law.
