John S. Goetz is an associate in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP.

Mr. Goetz received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He served in the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) where he held numerous leadership and staff positions including platoon leader and company executive officer.

After his military experience, Mr. Goetz joined the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent examiner in the mechanical engineering technology center, focusing on the metal deforming and metal working arts. He graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School.
