Porter F. Fleming is a partner in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP. Mr. Fleming has been engaged in the practice of intellectual property law for the last 17 years.

Mr. Fleming has extensive experience in counseling, preparing and trying patent cases in a variety of scientific and product areas, including chemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, metallurgical, consumer products, medical devices, paper products and telecommunications.

In addition to an active litigation practice, Mr. Fleming maintains an ongoing patent and trademark prosecution docket. He also provides extensive clearance, analysis and opinion work relating to patent validity, infringement, enforceability, clearance and due diligence issues.

Mr. Fleming received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and his law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center. He is a member of the New York State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
