Daniel G. Brown is a partner in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP. His current practice is concentrated in patent, trademark, and copyright litigation, with special focus on patent litigation, investigations, counseling and opinions.

Mr. Brown has litigated cases in numerous Federal District Courts and Courts of Appeals. His cases have involved technological subject matters including pharmaceuticals, software, specialty metal alloys, as well as trademarks, copyright, antitrust, and trade secret matters. Recently, Mr. Brown has successfully argued matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Patent Office Board of Appeals and Interferences.

In addition, Mr. Brown has performed patent prosecution, investigations and patent validity and infringement opinions in subject matters including semiconductor tools, medical devices, internet and software technology, and pharmaceutical and specialty chemical products.

Mr. Brown obtained his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati where he was a writer and editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review and the author of Jurisdiction of a Corporation on the Basis of the Contacts of an Affiliated Corporation, 61 U.Cin.L.Rev. 595 (1992). Mr. Brown obtained his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Houston.
