Marilyn Matthes Brogan is a partner in the New York office of Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP.

Ms. Brogan is experienced in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition. Ms. Brogan is involved in all aspects of patent prosecution in the chemical and biological areas. Her practice also involves all aspects of trademark prosecution and protection, including inter partes proceedings and litigation.

Ms. Brogan's clients include pharmaceutical, agricultural, mechanical and biotechnological companies.

While in both undergraduate school and law school, Ms. Brogan was awarded full St. Johns University academic scholarships. Following law school, she was in private practice for many years in the intellectual property field.

Prior to joining the firm in l998, she worked in the patent and licensing department at a large multi-national agrochemical company based in Germany as a patent specialist in the biotechnology area.

Ms. Brogan is a member of the New York State Bar and is a registered patent attorney. She is also admitted to practice before several United States District Courts.
